Those not in DC may not know how disturbing it is to see armed military personnel on the streets. This is not OK. #FreeDC. The amount of violent crime on Constitution Ave is near zero. This has never been about crime-fighting. [anonymous video submitted to IG @washingtonprobs]

It wasn't about crime. It's a diversion from the Epstein files and a faltering economy, and retribution against a blue city that despises him (he averaged 5% of the DC vote in three elections). Red state America always cheers performative tough guy crackdowns on crime. #FreeDC

There's been lots of protests of Trump's federal surge in D.C., but here's a new one (that will make you healthy): Runners are going to meet up at 14th and U on Sept. 1 for a 4.5-mile Freedom Run against "Trump's fascist takeover." (Missed opportunity for a 5.1-mile option.)
