We're two rounds into the 2022-23 season of the Metro Area Chess League (the high school #chess league for the Washington, DC metro area) with 30 high schools competing. Follow along and check out match results at

The Metro Area Chess League has grown to 30 teams this year. Round 1 results are in, and pairings are up for Round 2 on December 6.

We will not have Saturday Open Play on November 26th. Our Silver Spring office will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. Saturday Open Play will return the following Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 1:00-5:00pm. Happy Thanksgiving to all!.
