Illegal robocallers exploit weak links in the system. The FCC just cut off 185 of them. That’s a big step forward. When traceback meets strong enforcement, we can stop fraud before it hits your phone. Kudos to @BrendanCarrFCC and @FCC
The FCC and our partner agencies across government are working to crack down on the scourge of illegal robocalls. Today, we prohibited 185 voice service providers from connecting to U.S. networks because they have failed to comply with our robocall mitigation rules.
