The Shellback certificate is a "Crossing the Line" ceremony that is a maritime tradition where sailors undergo a rite of passage, transforming from "Pollywogs" to "Shellbacks" as they cross the equator for the first time. Thank you, Mr. Jones for allowing us to display it!

For the past couple of years, we have partnered with the Oseola McCarty Youth Development Center in the Marine Corps reserve Toys for Tots Program. We have collected a great many toys for the drive in 2023 and 2024. Thank you for the award!

Today we celebrate Anthony's graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice while serving in the Marine Corps and being one of our wonderful work-studies here at the VA Center!
