Turnback Tuesday!. Daily, our agents on the ground and the Laredo Sector Marine Unit respond to illegal activity along the river and successfully stop groups of illegal aliens. The smugglers return the groups back to Mexico; this is what we call “turning them back”.

No terrain is too tough! . Laredo Sector has implemented the use of Strykers by the Department of Defense. DOD has played a crucial role in support of our agents, and the implementation of Army logistics has shown an even greater enhancement to help secure the southern border.

Laredo North agents observed multiple illegal aliens load into a truck after crossing the Rio Grande. As agents attempted to stop the truck, it fled, and a pursuit ensued. In an attempt to flee, the driver drove the truck into the river and thirteen subjects swam back to Mexico.
