This weeks lunchtime concert featured a wonderfully talented lower 5th music scholar, performing on her cello. The programme included the first movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C, Mendelssohn’s Variations Concertantes, and a Prelude by OU Ernest John Moeran. #UppinghamMusic

This weeks lunchtime concert featured a talented lower sixth scholar. Her programme included the first movement of Saint-Saëns’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Andante from Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata in G minor, and Schumann’s poetic miniatures, Fantasiestücke, Op. 73.

Yesterday’s lunchtime concert was performed by one of our top clarinet players, who recently gained a diploma in performance. Her programme showcased Fantasiestucke by Gade, the Majorcan Pieces by Horovitz, and one of Brahms’s last compositions - the second Clarinet sonata in Eb.

Last Friday marked the final Jazz Jam of the year - where has the time gone? It was a fantastic evening filled with talent as our pupils took to the stage. We were thrilled to welcome a special guest, Hayley Sanderson, whose stunning vocals added an extra sparkle to the night.
