Crews are continuing to restore the remaining outages while cleaning up the damage that was caused by the winter storm.

There are numerous locations in Delta and Marquette Counties where ~3,400 customers are without power. We are hopeful that most customers will be restored later this evening; however, it is difficult to predict as new outages are still occurring while others are being restored.

New outages are being caused by broken tree branches that fall onto power lines as the snow begins to melt. Crews are continuing to respond to the outages, as they occur, to restore power as quickly as possible.

7:00 AM Update: Heavy snow continued to fall through the night causing additional power outages while crews worked to restore power. 5,567 customers are currently without power. Crews will be working through the day to restore power and clean up the storm damage.

Crews will be working through the night to restore power and will continue their work until everyone has been restored. Some customers may be without power through the night, particularly in Delta County where repairs are required at numerous locations.

During the last 24 hours, crews have made system repairs at ~100 different locations and restored service to 9,111 customers. Our work continues until all customers have been restored.

UPPCO crews and contractors are busy working to restore power to 3,364 customers that are without power as of 4:00pm. Crews will continue to work into the night. Additional outages continue to occur as strong winds and heavy snow cause additional damage to trees and power lines.
