Following the Lake Tahoe Summit, the University was proud to host the Lake Tahoe Summit Luncheon at the Lake Tahoe 4-H Camp. The luncheon featured panel conversations with leading environmental stakeholders, moderated by @sencortezmasto, @senjackyrosen, and @senadamschiff

We had a great time at this year’s Lake Tahoe Summit! It’s important for stakeholders from Nevada and California to address the needs of the Tahoe Basin. We’re thankful to have been able to represent the University at this event alongside President Sandoval.

Today, @JosephMLombardo signed S.B. 262 into law. This bill expands funding for Graduate Medical Education throughout Nevada. Thank you, @pazina_julie, for championing this bill!

The University is excited to be hosting Hot August Nights on campus for the first time since 1986!. The main event venue will be located at the north parking lots starting Monday, August 4, 2025 through Sunday, August 10, 2025 for the Grand Finale Parade.

Reno City Councilmember Naomi Duerr held a Ward 2 Council Connect at Swill Coffee with residents to hear about their concerns. Following this connect, Councilmember Duerr will be holding future meetings like this every other month across Ward 2 to engage with residents.
