I tried with a round face, i think the problem for me is the jawline's shadow...idk i guess the other features(eyes, nose) helps understand the direction without the need of the jawline
I tried back when i was studying different angles for my character, It is NOT fun and extremely wonky to do, I totally get their struggles. I always recommend starting with the basics before going to the final boss.
