For the first time in 11 years, thousands of people gathered at Al-Nouri Mosque to celebrate the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad. Overlooking the celebration stood the iconic Al-Hadba minaret, newly rebuilt along with the mosque by @UNESCO in partnership with @IraqiGovt & #UAE. 1/3

Once destroyed during the conflict, the mosque and minaret now stand as enduring symbols of resilience, cultural revival, and hope for the people of Mosul. Their restoration reflects not only the recovery of historic landmarks, 2/3
