information from our field officers that 23 out of 26 candidates of
Mpasana Primary School in Kakumiro missed writing the Mathematics paper on November 8, 2022, the first day of the Primary Leaving Examination ( PLE).
The Minister for Education and Sports Mama Janet K. Museveni has confirmed that she will release the

results tomorrow, Thursday, February 15th, starting at 11:00am. Venue is State House, Nakasero.
The release of

follows a briefing session by UNEB to the Minister this morning. A total of 349, 459 candidates registered for the 2023 UCE Examination as compared to 364, 467 in 2022.
The 2023 candidates were the last cohort of learners that sat for the UCE

It has come to the attention of the Board that there are some impostors coning Head teachers and School Directors of money, allegedly to either help them improve the grades of their candidates, or remove their schools from the list of those suspected of examination malpractice.

Results will be uploaded on the examination centre Portals. Each school can therefore download their results as soon as they are officially released.
However, the District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools may collect hard copies of the results

Heads of examination Centres can download the results from their portals as soon as they are released. No hard copy result lists will be issued from UNEB offices until conditions are more favourable. Examination centres will be notified accordingly.
