Logistics has reshaped subjectivities by altering the temporality of the political and technical, producing new ways of thinking and seeing, and compelling novel modes of care.

The Logistical Body investigates one limit – the material remainder of the laboring body within this hypermobile regime – and excavates the strategies, techniques, and logics used to manage this disordered entity.

However, as we collectively witnessed, disruptions are inevitable; environments, nature, and uncooperative labor regularly threaten smooth operations forcing logistics to confront its limits.

The Logistical Body was motivated by the pandemic and the subsequent breakdowns it made visible. Contemporary logistics is an attempt to master time and space to generate efficient, unimpeded movement.

Potential ideas for programming might include: - Curating a film series with discussion - Curating a book club and discussion series - Finding and inviting a speaker to speak to an important topic in Asian American studies or AAPI communities

Ambassador Requirements & Expectations: - Attend monthly meetings & retreats - Devote up to 10 hours per week - Promote the AAC at events & GBMs - Attend at least 2 AAC events per semester - Plan and execute at least one academic and/or community engagement event per semester

They will also be tasked with creating events that align with the AAC's academic and community engagement mission. Applications are due by 13 October 2025:

Applications are accepted in both the fall and spring semesters. Each term is for one academic year. (Fall-Spring/ Spring-Fall) Ambassadors are expected to promote the AAC at events, student organization general body meetings and various other venues such as tabling in the pit.
