The South Building Roof Replacement Project will begin Monday, May 12. The project includes the installation of new copper roof panels and repairs to the cupola. To support this work, fencing and scaffolding will be erected around the building. Learn more:

Grounds Services continues to work to remove a large oak tree on Polk Place near Hanes Hall. Pedestrians should stay outside the work area and use alternate walkways through this area of campus. A new tree will be planted in the fall.

The Old Well has reopened! The installation of granite pavers on the upper platform completes the renovations that began last summer to make the Old Well more accessible, and the fountain plumbing was also repaired. Learn more at

The Memorial Hall Roof Replacement project is now underway and is expected to be completed in October. The project will require the closure of a portion of the Hanes Hall Parking Lot. Pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity in the area.

The Old Well will be closed June 17 - 28 for the installation of granite pavers on the upper platform. Paver installation will require the removal of the fountain, and repairs to the fountain plumbing will also be completed at this time. Learn more at
