This upgrade provides our UM community with the flexibility they need to share and present content seamlessly in classrooms and meeting rooms across the Bannatyne and Fort Garry campuses.

Starting May 27, UM will upgrade our classroom and meeting room technology from Apple TV to ShareLink Pro

3. Be cautious with email: Look for the UM external warning tag. It is a sure indicator that if the message sounds suspicious, it probably is.  Avoid clicking on links or downloading attachments from unknown or suspicious sources, and always verify urgent requests.

2. Enable Multi-factor authentication (MFA): The university requires everyone to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) to sign in to university services and applications. Be cautious about unexpected prompts, and never share your one-time MFA code with others.

Remember to use these key habits to protect our campus cybersecurity: 1. Use strong passwords: Create complex passwords on all your accounts, and consider using a password manager to store your passwords securely.
