This Date in Hurricanes History: May 6, 1966. Miami pitcher Warren Bogle struck out 17 batters against Rollins, in a 7-0 rout over the Tars. Bogle’s performance helped him become the 1st Hurricane drafted in the MLB by the Kansas City Athletics in the 1968 MLB Draft.
