EAB encroaching on Minnesota’s black ash forests is sad news. Thanks @MPRnews for sharing the story. We’re lucky to have researchers in @usfs_nrs and MITPPC working to limit the damage in MN. Investments from @mnenrtf started years ago still paying off.

The invasive emerald ash borer has slowly munched its way across the state since it was first discovered in St. Paul in 2009. Now it’s on the doorstep of the largest ash forest in North America.
