5. Be involved, get involved As an audience member, do what you can to make the person presenting feel good. If that’s smiling and nodding along, do it. If not looking at the person presenting makes them feel more comfortable, do that instead!

4. Pause, take a breather Don’t be afraid to take a pause and catch your breath. Take your time. Having short pauses during your presentation allows the audience to further mull over your great information!

3. Find trust in the audience Find a friendly face in the audience. When you find someone you feel comfortable talking to on a daily basis, the presentation will feel less daunting.

2. Wear your favorite color You can also wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable (but also allows you to look professional). When you feel good, you do good!

1. Practice makes perfect The more you practice, the more you remember. This will provide less opportunities to stumble or get lost in your words. You also won’t need to look at your presentation as much. This will allow for more eye contact with the audience.
