Worst golf idea in the last decade? I will go first. Top golf. Overpriced one-hit wonder with no return appeal. There are so many for sale across the country only after a couple years of being open.

If I die on the toilet, please let it be a Japanese style toilet. Motion sensor, seat warmer, hot/cold bidet, and amazing flushes. They are the utmost form of hospitality.

Something that should be commonplace on a golf course, but isn't? I'll go first. A vegetable garden. Especially if food is served in the clubhouse. A small amount of land can crank out tons of food!.

The microplastics are another issue. Maybe a bigger one. I am not saying they don't work well. I'm saying that due to their nature, the fate of the product is often uncontrollable.

While the theory behind these super slow release materials is valid and just, I see this far too often. If the products take a long time to breakdown - they're susceptible to off-target movement even under a dense turf. I think there are better, more sound, options imo

Dan Potter is a "retired" industry legend who was one of my favorite teachers and mentors during my undergrad at UK. He made learning about insects fun! He hasn't lost a beat! Still witty and funny as ever and a pleasure to have him speak in DE.

For you sod producers out there, please vote! The turfgrass industry may be the only arm of the green industry without a check-off. Millions of dollars will be generated with this check-off to further support the industry for the future.
