Three of our preceptors (Drs. Emily Sheskey, Sana Said, and Deborah Bondi) provided platform presentations, and resident Dr. Rohan Patel presented his research project. We were also able to gather several alumni of the program for an @uchicagomed_rx dinner!

Their stats highlight metrics specific to their program, including prescription reviews/interventions, medication access, clinics, and MTM!

The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization, has designated the University of Chicago Medical Center as a Top Teaching Hospital among only 75 others in the country for high standards in patient safety and quality of care. https://t.co/14Y4OFRvnF

This allows our hospital to serve as a regional transfer center for numerous specialties, giving our pharmacy residents the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of diseases/conditions.

Dr. Tariq’s card features the helicopter from UCAN, which is the U of C Aeronautical Network. Through this program, our hospital is able to helicopter transport critically ill adult and pediatric patients who need a higher level of care.
