I'm the grad director in economics, I've been hearing this from some of our students (so far only first year students). University is closed, impossible to figure out whats going on so far, please share info (I will if I learn anything).

If this is an issue with SFS as noted by others, the departments should directly issue checks as a loan. Department head admin could likely do this.
