🌈 The resources address a range of social identities & expand the traditional binary approach to examining “gender” in disaster scenarios. 🌏 This bibliography also aims to promote references that may be less often cited or less visible, especially from the Global South.

"Populations deemed ‘vulnerable’ are much more resourceful than the elite can see, they don’t need ‘development’ programmes; they need to be heard and given the chance to coordinate their own projects. Those women are the best, popular educators I have ever seen."
