Tonight we've assisted @leicspolice and @LincsPolice with pursuits and runners. Helped @nottspolice with safely locating a vulnerable person and getting them safely home. And then pre-planned tasking with @NorthantsPolice to tackle criminalty. #Teamwork

Last night we assisted @NorthantsPolice with a pursuit after a car had been recently stolen. Great work by the ARV's with bringing it to a safe conclusion after some very dangerous driving by the occupant. ^NO

NPAS 44 up and running on the pad at Exeter ready to respond to incidents across the South West. We have 4 aircraft covering the South West - 44 Exeter, 47 St Athan, 47 Almondsbury and 45 Bournemouth. If we need to, we can deploy all 4 to separate incidents in one force area

We don’t fly a noisy helicopter for fun. We DO fly a noisy helicopter to save lives, catch criminals, take guns off the streets (list could continue)….. If we are flying, please just assume it is for a VERY good reason. Just when you thought you’d heard it all …… 👇
"You've called a life and death emergency line to say a helicopter has woken you up." This call to 999 was about the noise being generated by a police helicopter. They were searching for a missing women who was later found with serious injuries to her arms. #ThinkBeforeYouDial
