In 2022, rain research entered a new phase. Artificial intelligence began shaping how scientists study clouds, turning data from flights and simulations into deeper insight. What did #AI and modern technologies help us see more clearly?

Raindrops reach a distinct size before they can fall with enough momentum to reach the ground. Anything smaller stays suspended as tiny droplets within clouds & fog. #UAEREP’s research helps deepen understanding of these size thresholds & how they shape rainfall formation.

اجتمع برنامج الإمارات لبحوث علوم الاستمطار مع مؤسسة سيلفرلايننغ على هامش المؤتمر الدولي الأول لتطبيقات وتطورات الذكاء الاصطناعي وعلوم البيانات، لمواصلة النقاش حول دمج النماذج المناخية المتقدمة في أبحاث الاستمطار.

#UAEREP met with @SilverLiningNGO on the margins of the 1st International Conference on AI and Data Science Applications and Advances (ICADAA) @EAUDubai to continue discussions on integrating advanced climate models into rain enhancement research.

In the 2000s, rain enhancement began a scientific shift. The National Center of Meteorology in the UAE opened its skies to global partners, blending observation with innovation to better understand the journey of rain. Where could this new chapter lead? #WhatsNext4Rain
