Glass UI? Yes, but frosted. Otherwise the background is too unpredictable.

Hot take The biggest fight designers fight is not loss of quality. It's production speed. Since AI everyone assumes a 10x output but that's a sure way to create slop. Competing on turnaround times is a net loss game. Just like competing on prices. As always there might be

Minimalism and "clean" are great. But sometimes I want visual chaos. Done with @hiunicornstudio

Hot take: Being able to draw will make you a better designer. Understanding composition, lighting, contrast, mood. Skills i use every day in design. Nothing you learn is ever wasted. Ipad drawings (top) vs Figma drawings (bottom).

I don't design 12h a day. 5-6h of deep product design is my limit. And it's intentional. Product design means solving problem after problem. Every change forces you to question - What information really matters here? - Is this intuitive enough without explanation? -

Most designers don’t grow because they only work IN their business, not ON it. I use Sundays to • Plan the week ahead • Schedule my posts (picking that up again) • Review the week (wins/losses) • Realign on my goals Skipping this means you run blindly at 9k miles an hour.

Absolutely surreal year so far. In January I've set out 3 massive goals of which I have already reached 2. Growing out of my comfort zone and quitting my job to be self-employed was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I fully expected that it would take me at least 1

Hot take: Right now it's easier to find a gig being self-employed vs trying to apply for a job.

Before / After Web App design with @mrblackstudio We did a huge overhaul of the Web App. The client pretty much gave us free rein and it paid off. Super proud of this work and the client loved it.

Improve your typography in 10 seconds I see so many "$8k client designs" making this mistake. Avoid letters touching horizontally and vertically. Do this and you 10x your typography. As with everything - this is a general "rule". You can break it as a stylistic choice.

Fun fact: It took me 5 (FIVE) times to get my first Framer Template approved. Yet you did not see me publicly complain about it once. Why? Cause Framer essentially gives you a free in-depth design roast to 10x your design and skills. - Yes it feels embarrassing at first -
