a lovely afternoon break to attend the citizenship ceremony of the first refugee we hosted 6.5 years ago. From being homeless after standard rapid refugee status eviction w barely any English to now having a good job as a licenced building site lift operator. #RefugeesAtHome 1/3

@mrjamesob I reflected today how well union bosses are handling public debate and often tricky lines of live questioning. Especially in comparison to Tory MPs I came to the conclusion its prob much easier to speak when you aren't trying to remember the chain of untruths you've already spun

Shortest of all the weeks swims today (as the lake was really too shallow) but for some reason I just can’t get warm. This is me 2 hours later

Swim number 4 turned out to be a bit abortive - very shallow, but I did get wet at least and it was beautiful.

Only a short dip today. But that makes 3 swims in 3 different lochs in 3 days. Ruined the teenagers lives by getting changed by the car on a residential street
