I actually really like the matchup against Alabama. Bama is a beat up team that’s not playing its best football. And I think OU is a really tough matchup for Alabama, with its run defense and pass rush. Bring it.

I think we have another game coming in Norman. There’s been a lot of special days in this place, but I cannot wait to see what it’s like for a home College Football Playoff game. Chills, just thinking about what the atmosphere will be. See you this month!

This is the most fun regular season I’ve had watching OU Football in a long time. Hasn’t always been easy. Very often stressful, but the respect I have for this team is pretty deep. Frankly….they’re hard to kill. And they back that up.

Ugly win, but I don’t really care. Heard all the crap all offseason about how OU wasn’t going to do anything in SEC. Remember? They’re the next Nebraska. 10 wins is an incredible accomplishment with this schedule. So damn proud of what this team has accomplished.

This conference is so elite in so many ways. But the officiating being as consistently awful as it is has been a real shock. On all sides.

The most surprising thing about the SEC from a newcomer? The officiating. It’s truly awful in this league. Every single week.

Don’t demand more of fans and continue to take things away. There’s a breaking point for the average fans. Pricing them out of seats they’ve had for 30+ years isn’t a good look.

Another incredible road game experience in the SEC. Bryant-Denny was awesome. One of those places where you just feel the history when you walk in. The tailgating seemed top notch, too. Also, Alabama fans were great all weekend. Just an outstanding trip.
