Pangani and Lower Kihansi give tremendous insight into the Tanzanian-Norwegian energy relationship. Both projects saw significant engagement from the Norwegian business community, animated civil society organizations in both countries...

This trip focused on the Pangani Falls Redevelopment Project and the Lower Kihansi Hydropower Project, two hydropower projects that received significant Norwegian/Nordic support during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Indeed, I finally made it to Dar es Salaam to continue my doctoral research on the historical evolution of Norwegian development assistance to the Tanzanian energy sector.
