Someone posted me a letter from a librarian who objected to certain books being stocked for young adults. Sorry, but if you're a librarian, your job is to defend the provision of knowledge, even if certain books offend you personally. If you want censorship, get another job.

Been living in rural Mayo for over a year - I'm routinely referred to as "A Northerner", "from the dark north" and I'm asked to talk about the North like its a Safari. The old "Free State" mentality lives still.
