26 days til kickoff! . Tony Creecy was a solid under the radar back for State and is an often forgotten name amongst many Wolfpack fans. During his 4 years in Raleigh, Creecy amassed 1,265 rushing yards, 428 receiving yards, and 15 total touchdowns (9 rushing and 6 receiving)

27 days til kickoff! . Earl Wolff was another great piece to the Wolfpack secondary during the O’Brien years. A team leader and loved by all of #WPN, Wolff was a perfect fit at NC State. He amassed 361 tackles, 13 TFL’s, 2 sacks, 6 INT, and 7 forced fumbles in his college career

28 days til kickoff! . We talked about the 2010 State/UNC game yesterday, so let’s showcase the 2009 edition now! The Pack defense only allowed 3 second half points & Russell Wilson was spectacular, throwing for 259 yds and 4 TD’s in a 28-27 win, State’s 3rd straight W over UNC.

29 days til kickoff!. The 2010 edition of State/UNC was one of the most exciting games the rivalry has seen. Led by 2 TD from Russell Wilson and a punt return TD from TJ Graham, State escaped Chapel Hill with a 29-25 win. This would be the Pack’s 4th win in a row over the Heels!

I had guessed 8th or 9th for State. Middle of the pack (no pun intended) all the same. IMO other than the top 3, I don’t think spots 4 thru 12 have a big gap of separation between them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see any order of teams in that span at the end of the year.

30 days til kickoff!. Brandan Bishop was an electric piece of the Wolfpack secondary from 2009-2012. During his time at NC State, Bishop totaled 290 tackles, 9 TFL’s, 12 interceptions, and even had a scoop and score against Georgia Tech in 2011!

31 days til kickoff! We’re 1 month away!. Freddie Aughtry-Lindsay was a contributor to the Wolfpack Football program as both a player and coach. His most well known highlight in a State uniform was his 56 yard pick-6 against UConn in 2003. Fun fact: that was his only career INT!

32 days til kickoff!. Drake Thomas didn’t ever let the “under sized” comments affect his play. Thomas was the definition of a hard nosed linebacker during his time at NC State. He totaled 293 tackles, 47 TFL’s, 19 sacks, 4 INT’s, and 1 TD in his 4 years in Raleigh.
