At his peak, it only took Federer 6 years to overtake Sampras in total grand slams won. There's nothing unimpressive about winning 16 slams and creating the most ridiculous consecutive streaks the sport has ever seen. If anything, it supports his case as the GOAT.
The strongest evidence of Fedal being overrated in the GOAT debate:
1. Federer won 16 out of his 20 slams in a span of 6.5 years - Wim 2003 to AO 2010
2. Nadal won 3 non-clay slams in the last 10 years (in all 3 of them Novak was injured/ did not play/ was deported)
