Issue No. 3: Endings is out now! π currently on hiatus EIC Melanie (she/her) Blacklist participant
Joined September 2020
Hi, so I did this. I have all of Issue One queued to post over the next few weeks and will load Issues two and three as well. If tumblr is a platform you use, consider following us there. :)
In light of the ~gestures broadly~, Iβm moving our primary social media existence to Tumblr, with the same handle. Feel free to join me there, though I have no idea how quickly I can get content flowing there. It will happen though βπ»

I just finished @olsonquest βs The Anxiety Workbook - I cried a lot, but in the cathartic it-feels-good-to-be-seen way. Thank you, Olson, for putting this into the world, and making so much sense.

Red Hot City - Dan Immergluck. This one is really niche, a discusssion of housing policy in Atlanta from the 90's to today (2021). Takes a real stab at Georgia's political leaders. Extremely detailed and informative.

Disfigured by Amanda Leduc - an analysis of disability representation (literal and metaphoric) in fairy tales. Could not get enough of the conversations Leduc starts in her book.

By far the best read these past few months - Color of Law by Richard Rothstein. An absolute must read for those interested in how racial policies are bricked into US history, despite what seemed like progress over the years.

What have you guys been reading lately? Mags, books, audiobooks, etc. I spent all winter learning about housing policy + racial and disability discrimination. I'll mention a few of my faves below - please let me know what you've loved recently!

Our submissions for Issue No. 1 are open for only 5 more days! Send us the thing you canβt stop talking about. The thing that made you cackle with glee. The one you made your best friend/mom/significant other read because you were that excited.

We are currently closed for submissions. We will reopen in March of 2026 for submissions for Issue No. 4.
