The Thai army removed and dismantled Cambodian structures that had encroached into Thai territory in violation of the 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU 43), four sites along the Sa Kaeo provincial border.

The Thai Army reportedly took control of Phu Ma Khua and raised the national flag at the summit this morning. The operation follows a successful offensive launched to reclaim the area, which had previously been heavily fortified by Cambodian troops.

“China has never provided any military equipment to the Cambodia for use in attacks against Thailand. All Chinese military equipment currently in service is from past cooperative efforts. Please do not believe fake news created by ill-intentioned parties,” said Chinese army reps.
