This afternoon, President @KagutaMuseveni launched the Kabulasoke Solar Project, the biggest of its kind in East & Central Africa. Sitted on 98acres of land, the project will add 20MW to the national grid, & supply power to over 5million households in neighboring areas.

The Kabulasoke Solar Power Park is important not only because it’s the first of other 4 parks to be launched around the country, but also because it’s an investment by a Ugandan -David Alobo who responded to the President’s call to the Ugandan diaspora to invest in their country.
