Six people were arrested during a lockdown in Scottsdale, Arizona against Nationwide Insurance yesterday. Three of them are being held on bonds ranging from $500-$1,000 each. We need to raise $3,000 asap so we can get these brave comrades out of jail!

We need to raise $1,700 so they don't have to pay out of pocket! Fines like this can set people back on rent and other basic life stuff. When we spread out these costs, we protect each other and our movements for the long haul.

Six people from AZ arrested during a Stop Cop City action this fall resolved their cases last week and one more expects to resolve their case soon. Each are facing fines and costs resulting from their efforts to defend the Weelaunee Forest. Please help! 🧵

Repression breeds resistance, and the more that the state attempts to repress people who oppose Cop City, the more people will see just how much a threat this multi million dollar urban warfare training facility for the pigs really is. #StopCopCity

The local pigs, the feds, and all associated agencies and entities are on a path of rampant militarization and repression of social movements that absolutely cannot be allowed to go on unchecked.

This is a disturbing development especially as we are currently also seeing moves being made in Georgia’s legislative bodies to criminalize bail funds. The repression against the struggle to stop Cop City continues to show the precise reason why this struggle is necessary.

On the morning of Feb. 8th, multiple pig agencies including the FBI, the APD, raided the homes of multiple people opposed to the construction of Cop City. The details surrounding this are still coming out at the time of writing, but at least one person has been arrested.

And also please donate to the Atlanta Solidarity Fund! They're doing amazing work bailing everyone out; we couldn't do it without them.

The crowd is projecting images onto the side of the building that read "Shut it Down" and chanting and drumming while people locked inside holler back.

One person from Arizona was arrested today during the Block Cop City action in Atlanta and booked into the DeKalb County Jail. There are currently about 120 people holding a demo in front of the jail in support of our Arizona comrade and several others arrested this week.

We’re out here at Laura Conover’s office this morning asking her to end her complicity with the massive number of deaths in the Pima County Jail. Today we remember the life of Aaron Moore, who was killed by the jail Tuesday.

Update: Police are starting to leave Ocotillo Apartments without forcing an eviction at this moment, likely due to our powerful response! Some tenants are staying in their rooms until there’s a court order. COW will remain on site for a while to distribute food and keep watch.

@TucsonTenants and Community On Wheels are on the ground and leading the way in showing up in solidarity with people there. Some tenants are saying they will refuse to leave. The only solution to the housing crisis is solidarity and resistance.

Forced eviction of 200 people happening now! Please show up in solidarity to 1025 E Benson Hwy, Tucson, AZ to witness and help defend our neighbors. Tucson PD and city and county officials are participating in the forced eviction from Ocotillo Apartments, a fake “sober home."
