Mubenga relishes the diversity of Buffalo Public Schools, whose students hail from more than 100 countries.

Mubenga’s contract is for four years at $285,000 per year, according to a district release. That’s very similar to Tonja M. Williams Knight’s salary the last few years.

Vote is unanimous. Pascal Mubenga is Buffalo Schools’ new superintendent.

The Buffalo School Board is about to vote on a resolution naming Pascal Mubenga, formerly of Durham Public Schools, as its new superintendent. It’s effective Aug. 15.
