Peace? Quiet? Osaka's nights were strangely serene as of late. Perfect for a solo session of practice; eyes closed, body light in every step, precise with every strike. Loud as she could be, nothing pleased her more than the cool silence. Even if she knew it was to be fleeting.

For anyone else involved that sees this, I implore you to have a direct conversation with @BasilicaAgent to get their side of the story. They felt no one would listen, but I wanted to at least try. We all fuck up, but we should all be able to be forgiven for mistakes.

They're hesitant to host now. If Flac's mental health doesn't mean much to you, feel free to ignore everything and go about your days. But if you feel even a little bad, then, if nothing else, make it clear that you're willing to try and carry yourself better moving forward. >

I do strongly believe that you should apologize sincerely to the people you've put off. You've seen all the QRTs by now. At the very least, make an effort to not drag others down with your attitude. You've made Flac look horrible by proxy and nearly costed them friendships. >

tell the host calmly. Or inbox your partner with respect and let them know. No need to make a circus of things. Talking strictly about your conduct in the event, I don't think you need to be cancelled. Whatever others are taking you to task for outside of this scope. >

And for your part, @FUWHAHAHAHAHAHA, I get that you want to show off how awesome you believe your writing and character to be, but keep in mind that your writing partners want to do the same thing. Fun over ego. It's a hobby. If you aren't happy with how a thread is going, >

And, please, the next time you feel a writer is stifiling your own writing, let the host know and have them look at the replies so they can reach out to the offending person in question on your behalf. Transparency is key. >

fun with the event for the most part beyond the Gilgamesh drama. So I'd ask that everyone put off by the end result take Flac's position as a new host into consideration and give them a chance if they try again. >

apologized or not. Illya wasn't comfortable, but they also didn't speak (for their own reasons, see their post regarding this). Flac assumed that Illya got over it, and was incorrect, but acknowledges this error. I believe everyone should have a second chance. And we all had >

The only criticism I've seen of the event relates back to the Gilgamesh in some shape or form. Flac acknowledged to me that they should have handled that better, especially in regards to the Illya and how they felt disrespected both IC and OOC, no matter if the Gilgamesh >

It might not be an especially satisfying answer, I know. Trust me. Flac themselves admitted to me that they wish they could have managed things better. It was their first attempt at such an event. And I still believe the story and stages were fun to engage with. >

He won on technicality of time outs or his attacks being ignored IC, not specifically because they wanted him to win from the offset. Not because they like him more than the rest of us. Nor because they endorse his highly disliked OOC behavior. >

side of the story. As someone who was bickering with both the host and judge this week, I can still say I believe they weren't acting on a bias for the Gilgamesh. The truth of it is, his manner of writing tired out his writing partners/opponents and demotivated them. >

             || OK. It might be pointless to say, might not be. But I wanted all of the NoahsArk stuff to end on a good note and move on. The reason Gilgamesh won wasn't due to bias from the host nor the judge. You don't have to believe me given how things went. Still, I heard their >
