The Bengals have home games against the Jets and Bears next, then their bye. Their next road game is a month from tonight. They could be 5-4 going into Pittsburgh on Nov. 16. Getting Joe Burrow back with a shot at the playoffs is ... possible.

True. It also helps when have Chase and Higgins. It’s why I wanted #Broncos to pursue Higgins in free agency, knowing they wouldn’t. And use first-round pick on an offensive player. They need more weapons, though they could look a lot better if Evan Engram starts playing 70

Stop gap is correct. But don’t trade him in division to give Bengals a chance to make playoffs. Flacco got paid bc played out of his mind in playoffs when Ravens won Super Bowl. But all credit to him for being a functional QB at his age.
