Eastbound I-70 is temporarily shut down at Ellis due to a semi truck fire. Vehicles are being directed down the off ramp and then they can get back on using the on-ramp. Please slow down if you were in this area!

In case you didn’t know, I 70 is closed from Colby to the Colorado state line due to high winds and blowing dust. I’m not sure how long this closure will last. Check for road updates. #KSwx

This was on I-70 in Russell County last Thursday. Thankfully the driver was not injured, thanks to his seatbelt. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, not saying this driver was distracted, but if you are, it can increase the risk of a crash by 23 times. #JustDrive
