This is not true. It has never been true. It is based partly on a misunderstanding FBI data and partly based on a widely perpetuated lie. A thread.
I hate the oppression olympics, but as @nhannahjones felt the need to downplay the rise of antisemitism in her commentary, it's important to see the relative data. The FBI data shows a Jewish American is over twice as likely than any other American to be victims of a hate crime.
