Another great module as part of the Working with the Big Ideas PL. Our @OldGuildfordPS team had a ball unpacking the Big Ideas of Trusting the Count and Place Value through thought-provoking play. Thanks again @TregoningMich, @missalikhan & the team for another engaging PL!

I think you’ll appreciate this update on the Everyday Maths Hub @johnqgoh. As always, there are plans afoot but it’s nice to share this milestone that many different teams helped achieve. Our inner mathematicians feel ☺️. You can find the resources here

We throughly enjoy preparing the PL and playing maths with some of our students. and we feel so pleased when we contribute to having sweaty-brained, happy and excited teachers taking mathematics! It’s a real joy!.

Kindy students at Kieraville PS looked for collections of three. They took photos of their discoveries & sorted their images into how they saw the three-ness of three (as 3; as 2 and 1; as 1 and 1 and 1) & wrote about their findings. Then they said "Over to you, mathematicians!"
