Happy 2023! We had over 5,000 trees distributed, nearly 200 volunteers and over 200 trees planted! Thank you to all who supported us this year. 💚🌳

Did you know that well placed trees can help you save on utility bills? Planting trees saves an average household $100-$250 on utility bills. Three trees placed strategically around a home can save consumption for cooling and heating by about 25% and its summer AC up to 50%.

Trees Matter, along with @ChispaAZ , @ProjectRoots1, @TigermountainFD, and Unlimited Potential, worked with Mitzi Epstein to introduce this bill.

Advocacy Win for Trees in Schools! AZ approved $300,000 to plant trees in public, low-income schools across the state. The Trees for Kids bill, or SB 1689, will give schools more resources for investing in trees and the benefits they will provide for generations of students!

We had our first-ever school tree planting at a high school! We planted 43 trees at Tolleson High School, and the students supported in planting the trees and inventorying the trees afterwards!
