God doesn’t want us limping through our Christian walk. He wants us running hard after Him. What do you need to confess? What sin keeps showing up in your life? Confess it and allow God to cleanse you.

In the Old Testament, before God was about to do something powerful among His people, leaders would often call the Israelites to consecrate themselves to prepare their hearts before God. If we want to see God move in big ways in our lives, we must learn the power of confession.

and damages our spiritual life. For a believer, sin is like an injury to an athlete. When an athlete is hurt, they can still compete, but they aren’t at their best. In the same way, when we allow sin to remain in our lives, we begin to limp in our spiritual walk.

Good morning. Read 1 John 1. Somehow, in our culture, we’ve downplayed sin. We talk about it like it’s no big deal. We say things like, “No one’s perfect.” While that may be true, we should hate sin. Sin is what nailed Jesus to the cross. It’s also what separates us from God…

Have you ever had a moment like that? A moment where your love for Jesus outweighed everything else? Don’t miss the moment. What can you do today?

As we fast and turn our attention to God, repenting and seeking Him, let’s also pray for those who hunger is not a practice, but a daily reality, and ask God how we might help.

Fasting can also remind us of those in need. Remind us that there are people who are unsure where their next meal will come from. Have we prayed for them? Prayed for their protection and provision?

Our ancestors believed there was power in fasting. It is a way to show God He has our full attention. A time to repent, ask for forgiveness, and refocus on our relationship with Him.

Read Matthew 6:16-24. Are you ready to celebrate? Not b/c our practice is celebration, but because this is our last day to Fast. What did you learn from the practice of fasting? When you were fasting, did you grumble and make it obvious, or were you able to take it in stride?

I want to challenge you. Come today to church with a heart ready to praise! Set aside the idols, the things you often allow your mind and spirit to wander to and set your mind fully on praising and worshiping God this Sunday Morning!

The Psalmist reminds us of God’s Greatness over other gods. The things that we allow to have space above God. So, let’s set aside our idols. There is only one who is worthy of all our praise and adoration, and here in a few hours we have the opportunity to praise Him together!

Read Psalms 96. The Psalmist opens this Psalm with a call to mightily praise God! I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday than in the presence of the Lord, lifting up to Him praise and adoration! Pure praise can only come when our praise is directed solely to God.

For just a moment, celebrate our God not for what He is doing now but for the work He will do one day that we all get to participate in!

over even death itself. And it is in this victorious reign He invites us into! Not because of the special things we’ve accomplished but because of His work on the cross. Church, how can this not cause us to stop and celebrate the one and only Yahweh?

Good morning! Read Revelation 19:6-9. Is this not the hope we cling to? One day, we will be celebrating the eternal reign of God! Babylon has fallen, and we have nothing more to look forward to than eternal communion w/God. He has prepared His bride, us as the church, in all…

the long-term consequences? It could be the wealth you have or are chasing that is blocking you from seeing the work of God around you. What better way to remove this blinder than by viewing money not as a means to fulfil your own needs, but as a way to bless others.

change their ways. It is this declaration that gives us great insight into the mindset of the Rich man and his brothers. They have been blinded to the work of God around them. I think it is fair to assert that their wealth is what blinded them. They lived lives of utmost…

Read Luke 16:19-31. Today, I want to direct us to verses 27-31, after the Rich Man asks Lazarus to be sent to his brothers, Abraham tells the rich man that they have the prophets and Moses to tell them of what they need to do, and that even a dead man won’t convince them to…
