I’m not the kind of person to report the same thing repeatedly to generate engagement, and I hope everyone is aware of that…. But I’m informed yet again that Arsenal will push hard for Eberechi Eze. No other forward targets considered at this stage. Eze is their man. #AFC #CPFC.

As reported many times, Arsenal still very much on the case for Eberechi Eze. Rumours of his release clause expiring today are correct, but it changes nothing. #AFC never intended to buy until later in the window. Regular contacts ongoing and feeling is a deal can be done. #CPFC.

Newcastle’s stance remains firm that Alexander Isak is not for sale unless the club receives a ludicrous proposal. #NUFC defiant amidst interest from Liverpool and Saudi League clubs. Player is NOT for sale. #LFC.

What could possibly happen here is both clubs get to the point where they cannot be bothered dealing with the fella and sign different targets. This is exactly what happened with Arsenal and their move for Viktor Gyokeres. Sesko’s agent killed the move, trying to play hardball.

Agent broadly struck deal with Newcastle but left door open for Man United. Now he’s in talks with #MUFC, citing #NUFC interest and Isak money as reason they should pay up and do the deal now. Then he’ll go back to NUFC and say MUFC willing to pay more, so NUFC must offer more.

Benjamin Sesko’s agent is trying to dictate the value of his client by leveraging factors at two clubs against each other. 1) #MUFC are desperate for a striker so must pay whatever it takes to get him. 2) #NUFC may be about to come into a lot of money so can afford to pay more.

What I will say is; Benjamin Sesko’s agent should tread with caution. He has already left his client badly burnt once in this transfer window.

If you understand the industry it’s easy to piece together what’s going on with Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko, #NUFC, #LFC and #MUFC. Look at the briefings, consider the timing, what certain individuals may stand to gain. Agents controlling narratives. Can go one of two ways….

Aaron Ramsdale is a better goalkeeper than James Trafford. Newcastle got a better deal by missing out on the latter. #NUFC also working hard on striker additions. Yoane Wissa talks slow but still open. Deal to sign Benjamin Sesko practically in place should Alexander Isak leave.

#SAFC making Granit Xhaka the most expensive 32+ year-old in PL history seems to be receiving negative press. His experience/leadership could be key to survival. The deal is only £17million if they avoid relegation. Any promoted club would gladly pay that to survive. Top deal.
