The children in Year 5 have been learning how to create prints inspired by the Victorian Artist William Morris. They had a lot of fun learning about the printmaking process, creating their own repeating designs.

The final was a tough match with excellent performances from both teams and after a 1 – 1 draw at full time it went on to a nail biting penalty shootout. Two cracking saves from our keeper and two phenomenal goals for us meant victory was ours. Well done boys!.

Well done to our Year 4 football team who won the Pocklington Prep School U9s five-a-side Football Festival today against 8 other schools. They won their first 3 qualifying matches 6-0, 5-0 and 4-1 and went on to play brilliantly in the semi-final where they won 4-0.
