Love hearing from #younglearners, but as a Stu myself I have to ask, #why when Stu are brought to panels / sessions at conferences do they only ever get asked about their past in edu?? Why are we not bringing Stu into the conversation about right now & the future of edu? #SXSWEDU

What a wonderful resource on digital, project-based teaching by @Getting_Smart! The advice is sound (would definitely have enlivened more than a few online classes last year), and the examples included with each tip are also useful. #education #edutwitter #edchat #teachertwitter

Interesting model! This brings to mind Jasmine Setchell's article, from Issue 8 of Trailblazers, on her experience with self-directed learning. Hopefully more and more classes can transition towards utilizing Stage 3 and Stage 4 learning activities. #education #edchat #teachers

The goal of the model isn’t content knowledge, but something closer to wisdom -- learning how to learn, understanding what’s worth understanding, and analyzing the purpose of learning (e.g., personal and social change). #learning #teaching https://t.co/O3W4cZrvoH

As sophomore Audrey Thompson wrote in the most recent issue of Trailblazers, receiving feedback is crucial, whether from a teacher/expert or from one's peers. This template would be great for any students struggling to give effective feedback. #teachertwitter #edchat #education

This digitization means people can access ”more than 3.5 million records documenting the lives of free Black people during the Reconstruction period”—an incredible opportunity to center the voices of formerly enslaved people in teaching U.S. history. https://t.co/1cGAccmZNO

@ziegeran @TrailblazersEd Yes! If we want true Ed transformation #stuvoice must be represented beyond just “we had a student focus group.” Young learners are invaluable to this conversation & should be in the room where real decisions happen
