The audio book version of Sex and Sexuality in Ancient Rome is out now and it is MARVELLOUS. I love the narrators' world weary tone, as if she's got a whole catalogue of worse stories which she may or may not divulge. #ancientrome #sexinrome #nero #morals.

I needed to ring the DWP yesterday re Access to Work. The recorded message now says waiting times for new claims to be assessed are up to 30 weeks. So that's pretty much 7 months. Tell me again how the government plans to get more disabled people into work.

I'm working at the moment but it gets harder & I'm reliant on my wonderfully supportive collegues. My fear of not being able to work is high, nice of the government to add to that fear by whipping up ill feeling so that when that point comes the assumption will be I'm a scrounger.
Labour has this messed-up idea that benefits incentivise disability, as if there's a causal link between the two. Labour has this even more messed-up idea that removing benefits will somehow remove our disabilities. Will removing your #DisabilityBenefits remove your #Disability?.
