I trade Price Action, SMC & CRT, focusing on ONE setup with strict rules. No setup → no trade. I’m documenting my journey to consistency, wins, losses, and lessons. If you’re serious about discipline & patience in trading, you’re in the right place 🤝

If you could go back and change one trading habit that slowed your progress the most, what would it be and when did you finally realize it was hurting you?

This is spot on. That “almost win” hurts more than a clean loss, which is why I’ve learned that rules outside the chart (max trades, daily stop, stepping away) matter just as much as the setup itself.

@Traderdili The hardest part isn't the loss... it's that your brain registers "almost winning" as more painful than a clean stop. That near-miss triggers frustration deeper than a normal loss. And frustration shifts you into fight-or-flight before you even realize you're tilted. You can't

After years in the market, do you think trading gets easier emotionally, or do you just get better at managing the same stress?

Some traders believe market structure is everything, others believe liquidity is king, so if you had to choose only one to trade with for a year, which would it be and why?

We all say “wait for confirmation,” yet many entries still come from fear of missing out, (FOMO) so how do you personally define confirmation in your trading?

You blew 5 or 6 prop accounts and so what? Why are you shouting, why are you panicking? Keep bettering yourself, Passing and getting payout from just one will cover all that expenses & keep you ahead of your peers You won’t be able to know softness without identifying hardness

If two traders have the same strategy but one is patient and the other needs constant action, do you think patience alone can be the deciding factor between profitability and failure?

Some traders swear partial profits save their psychology, while others say it destroys R:R and edge, so which side are you on and why does it work for you?

Everyone talks about discipline, but when price comes one pip away from your target and then reverses to stop you out, how do you honestly deal with that mentally without revenge trading?

I’ve noticed that many traders switch strategies after a few losses instead of reviewing execution and psychology, so at what point do you personally decide a strategy is broken versus admitting you just didn’t follow the rules?

Especially with prop firms, surviving quiet days is part of passing.

Day trading is not everyday trading. No trading days is part of the plan.

Most traders say they want consistency, but when the market goes quiet and no setups appear for days, they suddenly feel the urge to force trades. I’m curious: do you think boredom is more dangerous than fear in trading?

Most traders don’t fail because of strategy. They fail because they can’t wait for price to come to them. Patience is the real edge.
