The towers are looking extra spooky tonight for the final night of @altontowers Scarefest.

Fireworks preparations are well underway, with 5 large towers constructed across the front of the lawns, with lighting being installed and tested this afternoon.

This year’s Christmas hours have now been added to the @altontowers website. Selected rides and attractions including CBeebies Land, Mutiny Bay, Hex and The Curse are set to be open from 10am-4pm on selected dates between 28th November and 4th January.

As Scarefest comes to an end, today we look at Sub-Species: The End Games, the scaremaze which ran from 2015-2019. This was the first @altontowers maze where you would be split up, you would be touched and you could find yourself totally lost within the maze. #ThrowbackThursday

It has officially been announced today that Howard Ebison (the current Vice-President of Chessington World of Adventures) will become the Vice-President of @altontowers from 1st January 2026, taking over from interim Vice-President, Neil Crittenden.

Gold & Premium Passes now have no restriction dates starting today - except for the Alton Towers Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular.

Merlin Annual Pass have announced some changes to their annual passes. The Discovery and Silver passes have been discontinued, with the introduction of the new Essential pass. The sign-up fees have also been removed on all memberships. 1/2
