In maths Y1 have been busy exploring teen numbers & showing different ways to represent 2-digit numbers. The children have shown great determination in understanding & showing their skills to staff. We are very proud of them, well done 👏🏼

Cooking Club challenged themselves with sushi making this week. The children prepared vegetables and fish and had a go at rolling and cutting the nori. They also made a Japanese mayo to go with it. They had fun trying the hot sauce, although it proved a bit too spicy for some!

Wow, what an amazing year we have had. It has been crammed with learning, visits, sports events, residentials & performances; to name just a few things that have filled our 2024/25 school year. We wish you all a safe, sunny and spectacular summer break.

As part of the Archbishop of York Youth Trust's Young Leaders Award, Y6 went on a litter pick. They felt lucky that our village is tidy, but there was more litter than they thought. We have finished the award, where the children have had to, 'be the change you want to see'.

KS2 performed to families & tour school with their production 'The Pirates of the Curry Bean'. With quick witted lines, lots of laughter & amazing singing as the pirates navigated themselves across our stage. Thanks to the staff involved for support,this show was a huge success.
