A disappointing goalless draw with lowly Wolves on this afternoon in 1981 are the first points dropped at home for Tosh's Super Swans, who slip to 4th. Found this clipping from the visitors' local paper with a rare shot of Ante in action in front of the Wing Stand at the Vetch.

Does anyone know why Final Score don't have a reporter at Swans home games? Bloody infuriating.

Luton Town lay siege to the Swans defence on this date 45 years ago. Despite appearances the game ended in a 2-2 stalemate, just as the return fixture at the Vetch would six months later ⚽️🦢🎩

Charlo and Kevin Moore in the thick of the action against Exeter at the Vetch on this day in 1978. The only goal of the game is a superb curled free-kick from Tosh himself.

Leighton James destroys his old club Derby County with a hat-trick on this afternoon in 1980 to keep Tosh's Super Swans in 5th place. Great shots of the North Bank here ⚽️🦢

Lovely lunch down Mumbles with Elis ahead of his Arena gig tonight. Seemed quite pleased with the vintage Swans track top I brought along 😁🦢⚽️

My spare bedroom - which featured in the film - had become a bit of a dumping ground of late so the last few weeks I decided to do it up into a classy guest room, promising myself I'd keep it Swans-free. But getting this 1980 flag back from the framers today has changed all that!

Bob Latchford fires home against Spurs on this day in 1982 to complete an impressive 2-0 win. After our worrying start to the season Tosh states he got more satisfaction from this result than any other in his five year reign. My second game this was!

Charlo heads Tosh's Super Swans in front against Brentford at the Vetch, 47 years ago today. The lead is quickly cancelled out before a blistering drive from Robbie James ten minutes from the end secures a win that leaves us 3rd in the table.

These three shots from a 2-0 win over Sunderland on this afternoon in 1981 really remind you what a potent side Tosh put together for our first season in the top flight. The quality on show here is just mind-boggling!
